time-machine.jpgIf there ever was a reason to get a Mac, I believe this is the one. There are roughly two type of computer users; those who have lost their data and those who are about to lose their data. Either you fall into one or the other. The new backup software that comes with Leopard OS X 10.5 is about the best I have ever seen. Time Machine alone, makes getting a Mac more important than ever before.

Since I have installed Leopard OS X 10.5, I have experienced several bugs with parental controls. One of which, is the Parental Controls process running at 90 to 100% cpu utilization. This causes my fans to rev up as well. I hope Apple will get this fixed soon with the rest of the Parental Control bugs. Continue reading »

I have my Doc set with animation and auto hiding. Occasionally on my MacBook Pro, the dock will freeze or not show itself. Everything else continues to work fine. For some reason my CiscoVPN connection started giving me trouble when trying to start a new connection. I would get CiscoVPN “Error 51 Unable to communicate with the VPN subsystem”. I tried quitting the program and restarting it but I would continue to get this error. To get it to work, I had to reboot my MacBook Pro. Here are two ways you can fix the Error 51 problem.
